This is a heartfelt homage to one of the greatest musical geniuses of the 20th century in the centennial of his birth: the masterful Argentinian composer and bandoneonist, who revolutionized the world of tango and brought it to its highest level of refinement, while fusing it with jazz and art music.

For a year and a half, guitarist and arranger Carlos Alberto Castro worked on these 10 new concert arrangements. Later on, he involved the violinist André Robles Field in the violin edition. Nobody else plays these arrangements: they are exclusively for CRduo. What they have reached is a refined result that has been captured in this recording.
